Pilates Mat, Monday 10:35 – 11:35 am NOTE: Location for this class: Angela’s Fitness, 2218 Alpine Boulevard.
Build strength, flexibility, and stamina! Learn how moving from your center improves posture, balance, and coordination and prevents injuries. The Pilates mat work is the origin of the Method. Discover how Pilates enhances your other movement and fitness activities. The Basic, not simple Pilates skills are emphasized in this class for beginner to intermediate levels.

Pilates Essentials – Tuesday and Friday @ 9:45 am, Thursday @ 5:30 pm
This is where you begin your studio practice or refine your Basic Pilates skills. You will build your understanding of the basic principles of the Pilates Method: Alignment, Breathing, and Centering. You will gain understanding as you practice how these concepts relate to your body and build your core relationships. You will connect to your deep muscles as you become mindful of how your body moves and feels. Pilates Essentials classes will either be Reformer or Tower / Mat.
Pilates Strength & Stamina (Level 2) – Tuesday @ 5:30 pm, Thursday @ 9:45 am
This class takes your beginner skills up a notch to build new exercises and movement sequences. Improve your breath connection, alignment, and coordination as you learn to connect movement skills for advanced beginner to intermediate Pilates exercises.
Pilates- Mobility & Strength – Wednesday @ 11 am
This class will help you build the bridge between Pilates and function in the Pilates studio. We will focus on exercises that strengthen and mobilize the spine, core, hips, knees, and ankles. This class is a great option for those returning to fitness, post-injury, or after a fitness gap as well as those looking to improve body alignment and posture in a bone-smart format. This class is suitable for beginners and will teach you the exercise progressions to improve squats, stair climbing, planks, etc.
This is an osteopenia and osteoporosis safe class. There will be no loaded spinal flexion or rotation.
***Pilates Equipment Class Details (Trios – 1 teacher, 3 students, semi-private training). In our semi-private classes, cueing and feedback are provided for individual progression.
******Restorative. Self Care. Movement Re-education Classes******
The next Body Sense Movement series is all about improving lower-body function. Improve your Feet and their connections to the Hip to improve gait and other functional exercises. This Specialty Series will be run as 3 classes.
******Yamuna Body Rolling -*******
Experience Yamuna Body Rolling, a self-care practice. Restore fascia communication, align your structure, and experience a new sense of freedom in your body. The underlying principles of the Yamuna and Pilates Method are very much aligned. We want to become more aware of the bones and the muscles close to the bone. Change the awareness and tone of the core, and better movement follows. Combine both techniques in your practice to accelerate your body’s access to new movement patterning.

Pilates Home Practice – Longevity! (Virtual)
This class will help you create an exercise program at home to load your skeleton for strong bones, better balance, and improve daily function without going to the gym or Pilates studio. A Pilates and functional exercise program supporting women 55+ to maintain an active and balanced lifestyle. Class time TBA. Reach out if you are interested.
This is not an on-demand class. I will watch and cue you as if you are right with me. Please reach out if you are interested. Possible times: Monday early am or Wednesday later am.

Core/ Breathe Basics – Expand your access to your breath and observe how your Pilates exercises become more accessible. Explore how your breath drives the core support needed for all Pilates exercises. The Pilates Method is a continuous interplay of breathing and movement. This is a deep dive into the most fundamental principle of the Pilates Method.
