Expand your access to your breath and observe how your Pilates exercises become more accessible. Explore how breath, fueled by a muscle and pressure changes stabilizes and mobilizes your spine. Breath is the driver of movement in Pilates and in life.  This is a deep dive into the most fundamental principle of the Pilates Method.
Learn exercises to help connect to your breath, improve your breathing mechanism that will improve alignment, decrease tension and in the body and move with more ease.  This “core body awareness” class is a great introduction or pairing to your Pilates practice.  Cost: This class is free and includes access to the replay for 7 days
The only fitness tools you will need for this class are a squishy fitness ball and 1 or 2 yoga blocks.  You will also need 2 or more tri-fold bath towels for this experience. The Yamuna work is also beneficial for myofascial release and neuro-muscular retraining, but it is a different technique, so I will keep them separate for now.
