Welcome to Alpine’s Pilates and Integrative Movement Studio, a place to stretch and strengthen your body and mind. We want our community to Move well, Be well, and Live well!  Experience your movement lessons from a serene ranch setting, 25 miles east of San Diego. Our studio blends Pilates and Functional training for a restorative, whole-body approach to training you to enjoy an active and balanced life.
Active Balance was founded to fill a gap between fitness and personal wellness, and on a calling to share the innate healing power of movement available in each of us. True body transformation goes beyond muscle power and strength, but reforms how you view positive change in your body. Believing that your body can learn and change at any age is an essential first step in your transformation. Here, you will discover that limits are continuously met with new abilities and awareness, helping you experience what your body is truly capable of. We view movement challenges as an opportunity to look through a different lens and guide the body on a new path. Our programs promote body awareness, the interplay of stability and mobility, and nervous system health –  to keep you striving for better function and balance in your life, physically and mentally.
The Pilate Method is, at its core, a corrective exercise system that trains all of your muscles, big and small, to work better together, strengthen together, and function in harmony! Pilates is adaptable to various needs and abilities and body shapes and sizes. The Pilates apparatus supports and challenges you, as well as gives your body feedback that guides the workout and the learning process.  Learning about your body and feeling the change is invigorating and liberating.
